Refund Policy

The vending machines on this campus process over 1.5 million sales per year and, as a result, do sometimes malfunction. If you should happen to lose some of your money here's how to recoup the loss.

Refund Restrictions

• $2.00 Limit per visit

• $10.00 Maximum per person per academic year

• 2 Week time limit to claim refund    

Academic Core

  Vending refunds may be obtained from the following location:

       The Auxiliary Services office located in 148 Auxiliary Services Building, open Monday through Friday
       from 8 am to 5 pm.

Night and Weekend Students

  Vending refunds may be obtained in the following manner:

Send a written request that includes your name, student ID number, and the amount lost to the Vending Department. The Office of Adult Students & Evening Services (OASES) located in the Barnard building will place the envelope into the campus mail service if you desire. The Vending Department will process the request and leave the refund with the OASES office for you to pick up. Please allow three working days for this process to be completed.
