The purpose of the Auxiliary Services Department at the University of North
Carolina at Charlotte is to provide quality support services to the university
community. Auxiliary Services will play a critical role as UNC Charlotte
transitions to a research university and expands enrollment and campus
facilities. Improved and enhanced services will be achieved through innovative
and creative ideas as we involve students, faculty and staff in the
decision-making process. The primary goal of Auxiliary Services is to provide
quality customer service in a sound business environment. The Department is
comprised of various service providers that enhance the quality of student life
on campus by delivering a variety of goods and services including the Bookstore,
Dining Services, Reprographics (copy, printing, and associated services),
Vending, 49er Card, and Convenience Stores. UNC Charlotte auxiliaries are a
combination of university operated and contractor managed entities that receive
no state appropriations. It is the goal of all the auxiliary service units to
serve the needs of the campus while recovering all costs associated with the
operations by charging for the services provided. |
