- Business Reply Mail enables the mailer to receive
first-class mail from respondents by paying postage only on
the mail that is returned.
- All business reply postage and handling charges are
billed back to using departments.
- When you decide to design any business reply envelope or
card, contact mail services for proper format.
- Your department FAS number must appear in the top left
corner of the mail piece.
- To assist departments with formatting business reply
letters, cards, and labels, a sample of each category is
provided.
- Please note the addition of a two(2) ounce BRM letter
that has the ZIP + 4 code previously used for flat mail and
parcels.
- The USPS has issued a new ZIP + 4 code for the
University flat mail, parcels and all other non-letter mail.
- All BRM stock with an incorrect format should be
disposed of as soon as possible. See Example
