Lost or Stolen 49er ID Card

If your 49er ID Card is lost or stolen, you should suspend the use of your card online as soon as possible using 49er Card Online at https://uncc49ercard.blackboard.com.

You can also report a lost or stolen card immediately either in person or by telephone to the ID Office (704-687-2492) during normal business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  If after hours, report the lost or stolen card to your RA or the Campus Police.  When a card is lost or stolen, the account balance cannot be protected until the card is reported. You may go to the Cone University Center ID Office or the Meal Plans/49er Card Office to have card unsuspended if it is later found or to purchase a new card.

The cardholder is responsible for all usage of the card prior to proper notification to the ID Office, 49er Card Office or Police and Public Safety. 

Temporary Cards may be issued at no cost and may be used for seven (7) days, after which the cards must be returned and new card may be purchased for $10.00.

There is a $10.00 replacement fee for the first lost or damaged card. If the card is stolen, bring a copy of Police Report for a free replacement card.
