Declining Balance. Meals may be used at either the Resident
Dining Hall (RDH) or Crossroads Cafe. Declining balance may be
used at any dining venue on campus including the Ritazza Cafes,
dining halls, arena concessions, and at any of the three Outtakes
Convenience stores. Declining balance is not accepted in the
Campus Bookstore. |

supplement or alternative to a meal plan as it saves the 8.25% sales
tax that is charged if you pay for food on campus using cash,
credit, or 49er Account. You can
deposit funds to
this account at any time. |
This account is the most versatile
account on your 49er Card. It can be used in Vending Machines,
Laundry Facilities, Copiers, the Campus Bookstore, and any
Dining Facilities on campus. However, all purchases made with
the 49er account are subject to sales tax. You can
deposit funds to
this account at any time. |
